Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

RosterWise™ is developed and operated by Grobe Games LLC, a limited liability company registered in Missouri, United States. When this policy says "we," "us," or "our," it refers to Grobe Games LLC.

2. Information we do NOT collect

We want to be explicit about what we don't do, because that's most of what you want to know:

• We do not require user accounts, logins, or registration.
• We do not require — or ask for — your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, or date of birth.
• We do not collect precise or GPS location. (The optional My Fit profile can include your hometown city and state, but never a street address — see Section 3.)
• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, microphone, or calendar.
• We do not receive or store your My Fit profile on our systems. We have no server that collects your data — your profile stays on your device and your private iCloud (see Section 3).
• We do not sell, rent, or trade any information about you.

3. Your My Fit profile

RosterWise™ lets a recruit or parent optionally create a "My Fit" profile so the app can calculate personalized fit scores against college programs. Creating a profile is entirely optional — the app works without one.

3a. What the profile can include

If you choose to build a profile, you may enter:

• Hometown — city and state only (not a street address)
• High school graduation year
• Height and weight
• Positions
• GPA and SAT/ACT scores
• Free-text notes and favorite programs

The profile does not require — and the app never asks for — your name or email address. It is used on your device to compute fit scores.

3b. Where it's stored

• On your device, encrypted at rest.
• If you are signed into iCloud, it also syncs through your own private iCloud account (Apple's CloudKit private database) so it's available across your devices.
• It is never sent to Grobe Games, never shared, and never sold. We have no server that receives it and no ability to see it.

3c. Your control over the profile

• You can turn off iCloud sync in Settings to keep the profile on a single device (local-only).
• You can reset or delete the profile in the app at any time. Deleting it also clears the copy stored in your private iCloud.

Because the profile lives on your device and in your Apple iCloud account, Apple's handling of iCloud data is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

4. Information we may collect

Aside from the optional My Fit profile described above (which we never receive), the information associated with the app is limited and is not linked to your identity:

4a. Analytics

The RosterWise™ iOS app contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifier, and no third-party SDKs. The app makes no network calls except to Apple's own services — StoreKit for purchases and iCloud for your private sync. We do not collect device identifiers, usage analytics, or crash analytics through the app.

This marketing website (rosterwise.app) does use Google Analytics to understand site traffic and improve our pages. That applies to this website only — not the app, and it is not linked to your identity.

4b. Purchases

RosterWise™ is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple (StoreKit). We never see your payment details. We receive only your entitlement status — that is, whether your purchase has unlocked the app.

4c. Takedown requests

If you email us to request removal of roster data (see our Takedown Policy), we will retain your email and the details of your request for our records. We use this information only to process your request and maintain our exclusion list.

5. Information displayed in the app

RosterWise™ displays college athletic roster information — player numbers, positions, hometowns, clubs, heights, and similar details — sourced from publicly available university athletics websites.

This information is about the college athletes whose rosters we display. It is not collected from app users.

If you are an athlete (or a parent of one) whose roster information appears in the app and you'd like it removed, please see our Takedown Policy.

6. Children's privacy

RosterWise™ is intended for users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The optional My Fit profile is entered by the user or a parent, contains no name or email address, and is never transmitted to us — it remains on the device and the family's own private iCloud account.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to us (for example, by emailing us), please contact [email protected] and we will delete it.

For users between 13 and 17, we encourage parental involvement in app use. Parents are welcome to contact us at [email protected] with any questions.

7. How we protect information

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we do receive. Specifically:

• We do not store personally identifying information on our servers.
• Your My Fit profile is encrypted at rest on your device and, if iCloud sync is enabled, protected within your private Apple iCloud account. It never reaches our systems.
• Email communications (including takedown requests) are held in standard business email with appropriate access controls.
• Roster data displayed in the app is non-sensitive and publicly sourced.

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a security incident that affects user information, we will notify affected users to the extent required by law.

8. Data retention

• Your My Fit profile remains on your device and your private iCloud until you reset or delete it; deleting it in the app also removes the iCloud copy.
• Website analytics (Google Analytics) is retained according to Google's standard retention settings and is not tied to your identity.
• Takedown request records are retained indefinitely to ensure we honor exclusion requests on future data refreshes.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

• The right to know what information we have about you
• The right to request deletion of your information
• The right to opt out of certain data uses

Because the only personal information in RosterWise™ — your optional My Fit profile — stays under your control on your own device and iCloud and never reaches us, you can exercise these rights yourself at any time by editing or deleting your profile in the app. To exercise a right regarding a takedown request or any email you've sent us, email [email protected] and we will respond.

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). We do not sell personal information. You may contact us at [email protected] for any CCPA-related request.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom residents: RosterWise™ is directed to a United States audience. If you access the app from the EEA or UK, you retain all rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR. Contact [email protected] for requests.

10. Third-party services

RosterWise™ uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store — app distribution and in-app purchases (privacy policy)
• Apple iCloud (CloudKit) — optional, private sync of your My Fit profile across your own devices, within your Apple account (privacy policy)
• Google Analytics — used on this marketing website only, not in the app (privacy policy)

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We recommend reviewing them.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top. For material changes, we will post a notice in the app.
