Our commitment: We will honor all reasonable removal requests from athletes or their legal guardians promptly and without requiring justification.
Our commitment
RosterWise™, a product of Grobe Games LLC, displays college athletic roster information sourced from publicly available university athletics websites. While this information is already public, we recognize that athletes may have legitimate reasons to request removal of their data from our app.
Who can request removal
- An athlete whose roster information appears in RosterWise™
- A parent or legal guardian of an athlete who is a minor
- An athlete's authorized representative (e.g., compliance officer, legal counsel)
- An institution requesting removal of roster information for one of its athletes
How to request removal
Send an email to [email protected] with the following:
- Your name and relationship to the athlete (self, parent/guardian, representative, institution)
- The athlete's name, school, and team
- Confirmation that you are authorized to make the request
- Your preferred contact email for confirmation
You do not need to explain why you want the data removed. We will not ask.
What we will do
- Within 2 business days: Acknowledge your request by email
- Within 7 business days: Remove the athlete's information from the app in our next data update
- Within 14 business days: Confirm removal is complete
We will add the athlete to a persistent exclusion list so that their information will not reappear in future data updates, even if it remains on the source university's website.
What removal includes
- Removal of all roster fields associated with the athlete (number, position, hometown, club, height, and any other displayed data)
- Exclusion from future data refreshes
- Removal from any cached or derived data we maintain
What removal does not include
We cannot remove information from the source university's website — only from RosterWise™. If you want information removed from a university athletics website, please contact that institution directly.
Disputes
If we receive conflicting removal requests (for example, an institution requesting removal of an athlete who has not personally requested it), we will err on the side of removal and reach out to clarify before restoring any data.
